Super intelligence is a problem that can become true in the future. Super intelligence is a machines created by a human who has intelligence greater than humans. People will only program the artificial intelligence to bring peace and do a greater good to the world. There will be a time when we will not be able to control the things that we had created. social media is a force for good or a force for ill?

Social Media
Social Media can be a good thing for society when it comes to spreading the word around. To what happened on the attack on Paris is an example where many people had used the power of the social media to contact their love ones. That is an important role in where back then it was very difficult to contact their love ones in an emergency and had no way to spread the word on what as happening. When an attack happen in 9/11 many people couldn't contact anyone because of the attack that happen and where all phone lines where shut down and many people had no access to reaching their love ones. This is where many people didn't have this advantage and is a big role because it could happen anywhere and your brother,sister, or kid is at school and could not reach someone to pick them up because you have no access to any transportation. Also if you stuck in the middle of the attack and was able to get away and could reach for help or to let people know that your okay. So having to use social media to let  people know on whats helping and spreading the word around the world is a big step because it has gotten to the point where its much easier to do something like that.

Bad Way 
The other hand because social media s the place to spread the word around. Many people use that power to gather people and recruit people in where can help them plan the next attack or something similar. So it can also be used the wrong way. It can help people know around the world that they are fine during a bad situation but is also a place where it all started. So many people have to have that in mind where its a place that can lead to bigger threats. Where it can bring better people that can provide more damage to world.

What i don't get is that if people are recruiting other people to join, many counties have the technologies to know whats happening around the network. The enemies must have hackers but we all know that government train and get the best hackers so why not use that power to see whats happening around the network. Government also spy on people with technologies that we use everyday but yet cant find the people who is planning all of this. Recently on the attack of Paris the group of anonymous have hack into the enemies accounts and put it viral around the media for everyone to see. If they was able to do that why coudnt the government do it as well.

The responsibility of cyber-security started when they where in Washington DC where they found out they had to go to a hospital in Dallas TX. In ended where it started where the hacker was in the same building she was hacking the hospital. The responsibility of the cyber-security was to find the hacker who was hacking a hospital who was killing patients every time they don't pay the hacker. They had to hack in the network to find ways into stopping the hacker using anything they can, for example they had to find DNA, background info, viruses, hacking to the network, and had to try use backdoor in order to find the hacker. Although the the FBI had to be a careful on what they do because they could had kill patients if they did a wrong move. The cyber security hackers and FBI  basically had to face hackers and find ways to stop them. I  feel no one can be anonymous because the way the episode was set up hackers was trying to stop other hackers but they found other ways like background info on what everything was purchase or where it came from. They also use other type of DNA in where people breath into a ventilation of a TV and leave trace.

Always On  (textbook)

‘‘The End of Anticipation.’’ is what they called when society is connected 24/7. It explains how  being connected is a good way to see whats going on with other peoples lives especially family members and can keep up the relationship. Although it can also have a way that communications with one another can be a a way people will forget how to communicate. Some responsibilities that most people have to learn again is that they have to show how to hear one another in order for them to communicate. most devises are used in many different ways in where people can use to for bad or for good but it all depends on most people. Like when people use a black berry while they are driving or using an mp3 before a test to cheat on a test. It depends how society changes.

Implications of Cyber Security?

The way it is set up cyber security is a way government uses our data in order to find any suspicious threats that's going on. So because we are always connected or everything is save in our technologies, the government can see what society is up to. The way it is set up its really hard to say if its right for them to have all our data and having our right to be free in away we are being watch all the time. It can be a bad thing because its bad how we are being watch but it also show how it can be helped find threats that's going on but it can also be bad where someone else gets our info and uses it with whatever they want.

Is Blogging Effective ?

This semester I was assigned to do blogs every week on certain topics. Most blogs I have done are very interesting in a way that it can help people get ideas or just get them interested in learning on that specific topic. What i saw is that mostly its the person's experience and what they learn and whats their opinion on it. So i believe that it is effective in away to help others learn something while looking through their blog and get like a summary with specific details and evidence to where it gives ideas to others. Not only they give like a summary to fully understand but their own opinion to show their perspective and to see if its worth learning or getting new ideas. If i was to do a blog without someone asking me to do so, I will probably do it but has to do with something that i love doing. When it comes to assignments and are asked to do something in a certain topic is not always going to be as good as a person who loves doing on what they want. For that reason i would love doing blogs about new games and me testing them out and sharing my opinion to others. Or it can be something related bout games.

Gaming Blog 

The gaming blog that can be a very effective blog that can bring information to other was the PlayStation community.  http://blog.us.playstation.com/   This can bring the community about new releases and how they can go there if they want to find more information about it where most times the trailer for that specific games takes a very long time to come. This blog shows and explains many new games or any type of games and explains on what is it about, what it brings, and etc. Most times what people look for is images fro that certain game so they can learn first on what is it about. Most you-tubers go and do their research to where they get images and all the info they need to spread the info. If was to work for the PlayStation community and makes blogs i wouldn't mind to do it. The reason why i wouldn't mind is because you get to know about early games games first where other will have to wait till I write the blog; so the community can know so they can spread the word. If i wouldn't be able to work for them i will still make my own blogs but in a way that i will have to do my own research and try to post it first so that i could have been one of the first to blog about the upcoming games. 

The English Language

As more and more people start using technology to communicate, most people start doubting on how its effecting on the English language. The real question is that , is technology really effecting the language or not. 

Effecting ?

At first i thought that people where right and how technology is really effecting on the English language. So because its affecting the language its also affecting the way we write and may be the way we speak. For me I thought that we were mostly be effected on our writing and how we kept changing the way write to create short words so we can write more. For example we write "U" as in you and "2" to say too,to, and two witch my self always uses. There was a time where i was younger and i was starting to learn new ways to write through Tex messaging. The reason i learn is because many people started doing so and because i had many friends they also did it and so it began to spread in most of the teenagers. Many started to cut down many words to create one word and if you didn't know it it was funny to many people because they were new to it. So it was a time were people wanted to know this type of way to write because many other would talk in this way.  On the link http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-10971949 under the section "Txt Spk" explains many thing on how words are being cut down and how many new words are created were other words are not being used no more. 

May be is a Normal Thing

As I kept looking for information i had saw that may be its normal that this is happening to the English language. For this reason is that the way technology is using the language to help people create new things for the society. Now it determines how people see the new things and how they absorb it and uses it. On the textbook Alway on it explains how most people are effected but the kids and teenagers are the ones who effected the most. On page 174 it had me thinking in how as time passes by the English language is adapting and how many other people have different ways in saying certain words. So is just in a way where people uses this type of ways and how they can say it. But for my opinion is that we going through a time where English is changing depending on the way people take it and how this change can be change on the way it was before or it can improve . When it comes to communicating face to face is really a big and better way to actually communicate with someone instead of communicating with someone online. By this i mean that by actually communicate with that person right there and now you and that person will see and learn a lot by talking with one another. This will only mean that you will get the actual full story that most people wont get through a Tex, because most people are lazy to write a whole paragraph explaining everything yet they Tex the whole day. Another thing is that you will get to see every emotion when your there , you can experience a laugh, serious conversation, sad moment, or something excitement. Yeah you can get that also by a Tex but it wont feel the same as if you were actually there, all you will get is to feel that feeling for just a moment but will feel it alone in a way. When it come to communicating on online i always avoid it, the reason why is because i feel like everyone has a life and things to do. I was one of the few that grew up playing outside and have fun with our creativity, most kids now and days have iPad's and smart phones. So i know how to be in the real world instead of the media.

In class we had seen a Ted Talks video "Connected, but Alone?"and it had showed me a lot bout communicating through the media. Sherry Turkle claimed, "our little devices, those little devices in our pockets, are so psychologically powerful that they don't only change what we do,they change who we are."  This explains that by being on our smart phones it had impacts us in many ways that it has changed in what we do and who we had become. Smart phones can effect on the things you do and by this because people have been on their phones for so long that they just cant let go of them and has become part of them. This only means that they have to Tex or check their phone constantly. So yeah you will see a person using their phone while talking to someone, on the store, on the train where you see rows of people sitting and standing using their phone or listening to music. People constantly be on their phones and don't pay attention around them. I'm the type of people that is always aware of their surroundings,  this is because you never know what you will come across with. My dad always told me to always be aware because you might come across someone famous, and yes this came true a couple times, might find money , most i found was one hundred dollars, or just come across something interesting that can catch your eye. Most people just be on their phone and block on whats around them. What this also effects is on what that person becomes by this I agree with Turkle because most people becomes afraid of talking. People had become so attach with their phones that they all forgot how to have a conversation face to face. Most people are afraid because they think they are boring and can become someone they want to be on the media. This is when it leads up to think that they will mess up when having a conversation because they think they might say something wrong, this is a problem to them because they are used to edit on everything they have to say when they have a conversation through media.

Turkle goes on to claim, "Human relationships are rich and they're messy and they're demanding. And we clean them up with technology. And when we do, one of the things that can happen is that we sacrifice conversation for mere connection. We short-change ourselves. . . . Over and over I hear, "I would rather text than talk." And what I'm seeing is that people get so used to being short-changed out of real conversation,so used to getting by with less, that they've become almost willing to dispense with people altogether." this all show that they start becoming someone who wants to be connected but will always be alone because that person don't really know how to have a conversation with another person's face. In my life i always like to talk to people because i feel i can learn a lot from one another. Is always something something I like to do because i get to be myself and being someone who you are not will always get you no where and will make you feel alone. The only problem with me is that I am a shy person and will only have a conversation if someone else starts it. Every time someone starts it is easy to have a conversation only if they are interested in talking back as well. So many people i had come across has no interest in talking because they are that type of person to be in their phone and that always makes me feel stupid or embarrassed because i try to talk to someone who is not interested in knowing me. This doesn't stop me in knowing to get other people because its a good way to learn other people and who they are what they know and what they experience. This generation really bothers me in a way that we are paying more attention to our phones and the media that people don't know how to see the world no more. I had come across many kids who have their headphones and texting on their phone while their parents or grandma are trying to have a simple conversation with them. They just ignore them and go on with their phones this not only disappointing their parents or family members but is also disrespectful something that is always going on with being connected, this is why people should really think about how long they stay on the media. This is where they should learn to talk to one another were it will lead up to interesting places that they can find , experience new things and meet new people and learn many other thing, but people will never find something like this by being connected in the media, they can find it in there but whats the point if you are not there. Is always going to be better if your are actually there. 

War Games

As time passes by technology improves more and more, improving its mistakes and becoming better in its ways. Although there are still some problems that there is still happening.  In the movie War Games it shows a lot of issues and concerns about computers and communication technology that are similar today then as it was back then. Computer have change over the years but some things never change it will always be improve or simply just get harder to use in a way. For example stealing a password has change in a way that it has gotten harder to access a password. We cannot just simply find a password n put it in written in a book or note although there are ways that we can steal guess a password. That way could be by studying a person's personality and find out what they like and what they do. It gets more complicated to steal a password in a way it can be called hacking. people use computers to access other passwords by using a lot of codes and many other things that i don't even know. As well how back then phone calls where use to access the computers but now we use the wireless internet where we can use our smart phone to access the internet. A big change that had improve over the time. As well how it made us use less wires to be connecting to other computers or phones.

People still use " back doors".  I believe they still use it because nothing can't be secure forever everything needs a back up way to get access to whatever you want to get in. Back door is like a second option in where the person might forget their password and needs to access to where they need to go. Something that didn't change over time. Back then computers were extremely huge compare to the ones we have today.  I am not sure if we still use big computers like the WOPR the one that was use in the movie use by the military and was program to learn from people mistakes. What I believe is that we might still be using some but can be extremely advance. This big computer will only be use by the military because they can afford in making one and creating one but has the power to make that big computer to make it do many other things that no other computer can do. The only reason why I say that it  will only be use by the military is because the computer will be accessing to the entire world having every single person in its data, connected to many other computers and because the military use it to access others privacy's. Having this use it so they can see that there is no "threat".

Computer are so advance now that every computer is program to think and respond to an answer. By the computer to be program to memorize everything it has capture almost every history that was discovered, as well as math , most language are program as well and many other things. This is use by people who are looking for information for example a student that is looking for information of something that happen many years ago. As well to learn on how to cook, learn a new language, history, math, etc. Many options that a computer today can be use. To program a computer to learn everything in strategies and become or do better actions can be a big issue. Like in the movie where in a a nuclear war can't be won and is a waste of time because it will always be an even match. They program the WOPR to learn tick- tack - toe due to the fact that that game will only be an even match all the time someone plays it. The only way stop playing is by quitting or not even play at all. This can be related to games, technology and war today because in most games its good to just give up and quit because a level is too hard and come back and try again later. Technology cant be created in an instance and has it limits but can quit whenever someone can't figure out something. Come back and figure it out then. War can always be a tie and is something that should never even be doing in the first place. Like tick-tack-toe a pointless game that is better off not be playing by people. People had program computers to learn from people's mistakes or do things that a person can't do but forgot that a computer should not be use to do every single thing. It can help a person do something they couldn't do but a person has it says as well.
